Handel's Messiah Performance raises £2,000

Chance for Children Trust raised £2,000 at a charity performance of Handel's Messiah given by London Concert Choir. This covered the fees of professional musicians for the Year 5 Singing Programme at a primary school near Heathrow. Eight vulnerable children composed and recorded their own composition to play to their fellow pupils as well as learning other songs.

Thank you audience of London Concert Choir's performance.

Our Twentieth Anniversary

Wednesday 14 December 2011 - Cadogan Hall, Sloane Terrace, London SW1
London Concert Choir will be giving a performance of Handel's Messiah.

Messiah remains Handel's best known work, although this was not a status that it enjoyed until the last few years of his life, brought about by annual performances in Handel's oratorio seasons and charitable benefit concerts at the Foundling Hospital (an organisation for underprivileged children). It is therefore fitting that West London head teacher, Carole Jones, has kindly agreed to make an Appeal at this performance on behalf of the Trust after which a retiring collection will be taken.

We very much hope you will support us by attending the concert and giving a donation or through:
